What we teach

Six courses, one student at a time

From a child’s very first Arabic letter through to full memorisation. Every course is taught privately by a qualified female hafiza.

Noorani Qaida & Basics

The starting point. Arabic letters, the sound each one makes, and joining them with confidence.

Quran Reading with Tajweed

Read the Quran correctly, with the rules of pronunciation taught one at a time and listened to closely.

Hifz (Memorisation)

A structured daily plan where revision is protected, so what is memorised actually stays.

Islamic Studies & Duas

Salah, the everyday duas, the pillars of faith and the manners of a Muslim child.

Quran for Adults

Begin at any age. Private, patient lessons with no group to keep up with and nobody watching.

Quran for Sisters

Female teachers from start to finish, in a comfortable and genuinely private learning space.

Why families choose us

The things that actually make a difference

Qualified female teachers

Every class is taught by a female hafiza trained in Tajweed. For families who want this for their daughters, it is not an option we offer sometimes. It is how we work.

One student, one teacher

Your child is never one of thirty. The teacher hears every letter and corrects it in the moment, before it settles into a habit.

A pace that fits the child

Some children race ahead. Others need a week on a single rule. Both are completely normal, and the plan follows the student rather than a syllabus.

Parents are kept informed

You are told what was covered and what needs practice, including when progress is slow. You should never have to guess where your child is.

A safe, familiar place to learn

Lessons happen at home, on your own device, with the same teacher each week. No travel and no unfamiliar rooms.

Fair pricing, wherever you are

The same standard of teaching whether you are in Karachi, Manchester, Toronto or Dubai.

What parents say

Feedback from families we teach

From families in Pakistan and from Pakistani families settled abroad.

My daughter had been reading for nearly two years, but her makhraj was never corrected properly and I did not know enough myself to catch it. Alhamdulillah, within a few months the difference was clear even to me. Her teacher is patient with her and never makes her feel bad for repeating the same letter ten times.

Ayesha Siddiqui — Lahore

We searched a long time for a proper female teacher near us in Manchester and could not find anyone suitable. Both my girls now have the same teacher every week, and I get an update telling me exactly where they have reached. For a family living here, that has been a big relief.

Fatima Noor — Manchester, UK

My son has completed four juz so far, Alhamdulillah. What I appreciate most is that they do not push him past what he can genuinely hold. The revision is taken as seriously as the new sabaq, and any parent who has been through Hifz knows that is the real test.

Usman Tariq — Islamabad

وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ

And We have certainly made the Quran easy to remember. So is there anyone who will be mindful?

Surah Al-Qamar 54:17

Common questions

Answers before you ask

Are all of your teachers female?

Yes, without exception. Every teacher at Madina Teaching Institute is a qualified female hafiza. Many families choose us for exactly this reason, and sisters learning as adults often tell us it is what made them finally start.

What does my child need to join a class?

A phone, tablet, laptop or desktop with a working internet connection, and a copy of the Quran or Qaida. Headphones help but are not essential. Nothing else is required.

Is the trial class genuinely free?

Yes. It costs nothing and we do not ask for card details to book it. It exists so you can see how we teach before deciding anything, and there is nothing to cancel afterwards.

We live abroad. Can the timings actually work?

Yes. We teach students across the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and the Gulf, and we schedule around your local day rather than ours. Pakistan being five hours ahead of the UK means an after-school lesson in Britain is early evening here.

Can adults join, or is this only for children?

Adults are very welcome, including complete beginners and reverts. A good number of our adult students start from the Arabic letters, privately, with nobody else listening.
