A calm, careful place to learn the Quran
Madina Teaching Institute is an online Quran academy based in Pakistan, teaching students locally and around the world. Every lesson is one to one, and every teacher is a qualified female hafiza.
What we are trying to do
Read properly, not quickly
Plenty of children can recite the Quran fast. Far fewer can recite it correctly, and fewer still enjoy it. We would rather a student move slowly and read properly than race ahead carrying mistakes for the rest of their life.
That is the whole idea behind how we teach. One student, one teacher, enough time for the teacher to hear every letter, and no group to keep up with.

Six things we hold to
One student at a time
A teacher listening to one student hears things a teacher listening to twenty cannot. Mistakes get corrected at the moment they happen.
The student sets the pace
Some students need a week on a single rule. Others move quickly. The plan follows the student rather than a fixed syllabus.
Parents are kept informed
You are told what was covered and what needs practice, so you are never guessing about progress.
Female teachers throughout
Every teacher is a qualified female hafiza with Tajweed training. This matters to many families, and we do not treat it as optional.
Lessons fit your life
Classes are scheduled in your local time, around school, work and prayer.
Nothing is rushed
We will tell you honestly if a student is not ready to move on. That is more useful than a certificate.
Our teachers
Qualified, female, and the same one each week
All of our teachers are female hafizas who have memorised the Quran and are trained in the rules of Tajweed. They have experience teaching children as well as adult beginners, and they teach in English, Urdu, or a mix, depending on what suits the student.
We do not publish our teachers’ names, photographs or personal details. This is deliberate. It protects their privacy, and the families we teach tell us they value the same discretion for their own daughters.
You will be matched with one teacher and stay with her, so you are not starting over with someone new every few weeks.
